This is the website for the Edinburgh Foundation
Course in Ophthalmology.
This course
was first held in Edinburgh in January 2007, and is designed to teach the
basic practical skills required by new doctors working in ophthalmology,
or doctors wanting to learn basic ophthalmological examination skills.
Thank you to all who attended our recent course in November 2008. We all had a
great time, and hope you enjoyed it too.
Email
received from a candidate after the Nov 08 course:
"Thank you for a great course and weekend. I am recommending it to my
friends. Looking forward to my ophthalmology post and feel
much more prepared now."
We do not yet
have a confirmed date for the next course. It is likely to be the 9th and
10th of October 2009 - we will hopefully confirm that date soon.

Alexandra Eye Pavilion, Edinburgh
