The course is open to anyone wishing to learn basic
examination
skills in ophthalmology. We have no exclusions!
We do however aim the
course at those preparing to begin their first job in ophthalmology/optometry/A&E, and
wishing to learn and practice some of the basic eye examination skills and procedures that
will be required in the first few months of the job.
The course is suitable
for:
- Foundation Year trainees (FY1 & 2)
- New ophthalmology trainees (in first few months of post)
- Accident & Emergency doctors
- Trainee optometrists wishing to develop basic ophthalmological skills
