Scottish Ophthalmological
Surveillance Unit (SOSU) in conjunction with Ross Foundation
We are pleased to announce
the introduction of SOSU - a Scottish only survey system based upon the
established BOSU.
The Ross Foundation has
kindly offered to provide sponsorship, in the form of an annual bursary
of £6,000 to support SOSU studies. These bursaries will be awarded
competitively to allow an ophthalmologist or other interested researcher
to undertake an epidemiological study of a suitable eye condition
through the SOSU. [Note: The Ross Foundation also offers a similar
bursary for a BOSU study, but no longer offers any other
research awards.)
